A tradition spanning more than 160 years
Montblanc's watchmaking history began in 1858 when Charles-Yvan Robert founded his watchmaking workshop in Villeret in the Swiss Jura Mountains. Although he could not have imagined it at the time, this marked the beginning of the historic Minerva era, which would go on to become a world leader in professional precision chronometry for over 150 years.
